Former President Mahama Asks To Be Given Vice Presidential Bungalow

Former President John Dramani Mahama has demanded the Vice Presidential bungalow to be transferred into his name as part of his ex-gratia .

A letter signed by the former Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has demanded the former President should be given the bungalow that has served as a house for lots of former Vice Presidents including the late John Evans Atta Mills when he served as a vice president for the former President Jerry John Rawlings, Aliu Mahama who served as a vice under the John Agyekum Kuffour’s government, and the former president John Mahama himself in 2009 where he was a vice before becoming president.

The letter above reads:  “RESIDENCE/OFFICE FOR H.E PRESIDENT JOHN DRAMANI MAHAMA”(Heading)

,  “Reference our (Osafo-Marfo/debrah) discussion of 19th December 2016 on the above stated subject, we wish to indicate H.E President John Dramani Mahama would like to have Bungalow No.3, Prestige Link, Cantonments, Accra and its adjoining facilities as his official retirement home.

H.E also wishes to have Bungalow No.6, 3rd Avenue, Ridge, Accra as his office.

We count on your usual cooperation in this matter.”
